This SUV is so badly torn up, I can't tell what it was. The driver, who fell asleep at the wheel and hit one phone pole, skidded across the street on its side, and struck another, walked away with only minor injuries.
A visitor from United States posted Sat April 4, 2009: There is no way that this is a late model EXPLORER! It can't be because those had Firestone Tires and this JEEP! Does not! It's probably a 2000-2001 and not a 1999 because of the back lights. I don't think the 1999's were styled in the back the same as the last models. I wish they still had these Jeeps, they were really something. This is a heavy heavy accident I am shocked no one died! You should have got more pictures of this bad boy! Another Jeep Down!

A visitor from Canada posted Wed February 21, 2007: Okay its got to be a late model Cherokee because of the metal tailgate handle. They didn't add that on untill the later models, before they stopped making them all together
A visitor from Canada posted Wed December 6, 2006: Its a late 90's ford explorer look at the bolt pattern of the wheels plus jeep is more round at back
A visitor from Canada posted Tue November 21, 2006: Its a Jeep no question about it. I am confident its a late model jeep, I owned a an older model Jeep the tail lights were more sqaureish, these ones are slightly rounded.
A visitor from United States posted Tue October 10, 2006: Nice pic!
Its a Jeep.. I'm *guessing* a Grand Cherokee... I'm pretty sure its a '92, because of its lights.
A visitor from Canada posted Thu October 5, 2006: That is a Jeep, the model year is anything from 1998-2000 Cherokee
