especially the brilliant design of the TAAG Angola T7?

any help appreciated
This site should be renamed MAPFPO - Modified Airliner Photos For Professionals Only!
What is this site now intended to prove...? Who can make the most realistic picture (ie, who has the best software and computer skills), or, like was surely the intention from the outset, who has the best ideas and most imaginative colurscheemes or aircraft designes?
I agree, the site should be split into prof
This website isnt designed for those with the passion or good ideas to create modified airliner pictures. It's designed for those with computer power and the correct equipment.
Some pictures/designes not worth looking at will be accepted simply because of the quality (that is; clarity of the drawing). Other great ideas or works of art will be rejected because your computer is not as new as th
i cant believe after 4 months not one person has bothered to reply with anything.
I know it must be available from somewhere but i am unable to find it.
C'mon guys, if a post where Carl is seeking happy birthday wishes even gets a reply, surely someone is able to post here and direct me into the right direction.
'Thanks' to everyone. >:-<

Gday again
I use paint for all my liveries...painstaking pixel by pixel stuff with seemingly no point as i cant share them around.
Ive built myself up quite an extensive portfolio so far and just wish i could get them on this site.
Paintshop pro sounds very nice but i aint payin nothin to slow this ancient laptop down even more!
Jaspike, ill try the winzip thingy see what it turns out to be.
Gday
A few months back you proveded me with a program to download that would allow me to convert my .bmp files into .jpg in order to download them to MAP.
Ive tried downloading this but it wont work for me. when i try to open it my compter tells me that there is ni acces to .zip files.
Can you help me with this?
Is anyone elce able to help me with converting my files to .jpg?
Gday
Before Air Canada revealed its new livery i remember a thread on a.net where many posted their ideas.
I remember one in particular which featured native Canadian art (Totem polels with whales etc). I have searched a.net for this thread to no avail and i cannot find the design here on MAP.
Can anyone help me locate this pic?
Also, is there another site similar to this one where this pic m
Thanks alot for your offer.
After converting my files to the format required by this site i know for a fact they are not worth submitting as the conversion changed them alot.
I find this site quite unaccomodating to the average enthusiast. Anyone without the proper equipment/software and prior knowledge of the required format must seemingly go to alot of trouble to share them with everyone else
I have had lots of trouble uploading my pics to MAP, it seems my computer doesnt work to do this.
I am searching for someone to recieve them via email and them download them onto this site for me.
Any takers much appreciated.
Thanks for all your help, Tom.
It would seem my computer is too stupid to make the downloads happen. Guess my planes are for my eyes only.
If anyone is willing to have me send them my pics via email and upload them for me that would be great. All credit handed over, i just want my ideas out there.
Hey Jaspike,
I have discoverd how to change the format of my pics to .jpg
This has done nothing for the quality of my designs, however, and now they all need work! >
Ahhhhh, computers! Cant live with em, cant live without em.
Yes, thankyou Tom, thats what ive been doing.
My files are .bmp
Is this the format you speak of? Im not great with computers so im not sure. If this is the wrong format how do i convert them?
What do you mean by wait for reciept? Are you saying i should be issued with a reciept/reference number, cos that aint happening?
What is the notification for a succesful upload?
Is the copyr
Still nothing, Jaspike?
What's going on mate?
I have had images rejected before so im assuming i am going thru the motions of uploading properly.
Tom, maybe i could email these to you instead and get you to add/reject them for me.

Is the waitig time for getting pics approved or rejected more than 48hours???
Im guessing u usually have a backlog of pics to check so how long on average should i expect to wait for a rejection email or to see my pics on the site?
Strange isnt it?
Who is to say something is of bad quality?
I recently has one rejected for 'low quality'.
May i draw the screeners attention to the pic in the database of the A300 Beluga in Adria Airways colours. No offence intended to the artist(honestly, only using this as an example), but if that is acceptable and my Air Namibia 777 isnt, then there is obviously no consistency in th
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if MAP accepts modified pics and drawings of Airships, helicopters and other such aircraft?
I have some great side/top/back/front images of the World SkyCat that i was emailed by that manufacturer that i have modified and wonder if they are worth submitting?
Thanks in advance
Thankyou for your offer Concord997, but I have chosen to take up the hobby of compiling dream liveries myself.
I have loaded a quite a few into the database.
Here's hoping they get approved.
I love this site!
Not knowing quite how yall do these great modified photos i have settled to play around with airline logos instead.
Id love to see some of these turned into liveries but being as computer illiterate as i am dont know how to make them available.
I have a few on hand, namely Indian Airlines and LAN (which ive turned into LatAm, Latin American Airlines). I thought this seems app
I have got my hands on some great templates for the world SkyCat Airships if anyone is interested but dont know how to make them available to you all.

Carl,
Thankyou for trying this!
Having just last week taken up this hobby, i can see how youve had trouble with Titan's livery.
I have ended up doing it myself in a number of different liveries, of which i have submitted my version of cxCargoMasters (Cathay Pacific). If this gets rejected i will try one of the other liveries i have done (TNT, FedEx, UPS, PLUNA Cargo or Zero-G)
Thanks again Ca
Has anyone checked out the World SkyCat website detailing the development of this new breed of AirShip using Helium AND lifting surfaces?
www.worldskycat.com
Is anyone able to generate a picture of one of these beasts (any of the proposed models)? I would love to see it in the colours of an international cargo carrier!
In relation to my post 'Next Generation Beluga', it too would look great i
