Quite a TSA Story

Well, yesterday in St. Louis, the TSA confiscated my tube of Crest Vanilla Mint toothpaste from me. Strange since I went through security in Atlanta two days before without a problem. So they take it away because I can do some kind of serious damage with this half-empty tube of toothpaste

There was something else in my bag in both directions that they never even looked twice at:

A book of matches

-Was I going to do anything with them? No.
-Did I realize they were in my bag? Not until I got to my hotel in St. Louis.
-Did I take them out of my bag before I flew again? No, again.
-Did I care that I left them in there for the hell of it? Nope

I remember why they were there, I took them down with me back in May to Savannah, GA. Never took them out. Now we all know toothpaste is not okay at all, but matches are fine. And a hell of a job the TSA did making sure the skies were safer there.

I'll post a full trip report probably tomorrow. I need to offload my mass of pictures and videos to my laptop and then get them hosted somewhere.

Well, take a look at my new signature. And if you haven't already, feel free to look at the links about an old man being forced to take off his pants. The TSA sometimes make me wonderwhat kind of people they are. One time when I was at LAX, one dude was shouting at everyone to keep their liquids in their bag and to not bother with them. (There really needs to be some unity between all airports!)
But in HNL, the TSA have a great time and have fun, telling me that I was penalized $10 for knocking over a small pile of bins. No rudeness there. In OGG, there was an older Hawaiian grandma-ish woman standing by the line for the metal detector checking everybody's tickets. When she gave everyone back their tickets, she mentioned our name and told us to have a nice day. So, the TSA in Hawaii seem to be the best. (Maybe because it was a sunny 80 degrees the day after Christmas)

The TSA are so unorganized!

You forget, toothpaste can blind people temporarily winking smiley
The TSA took my Dad's mouthwash and shaving cream once. Maybe the needed some but don't want to buy it!
