I'd just like to know what A-D.net's copyright policy is. Are people allowed to use our photo's without permission? Recently I found someone copying my photo, editing it and posting it without my consent on airliners.net. What should I do, I'm really ticked. On the other hand, what about people that use photo templates without permission on A-D.net. I mean if it is really obvious that a certain team may really not have taken that many photos or a certain aircraft manufacturer really likes to edit a certain airline, what then...? I was also guilty of this problem when I just started, that's why I started making my own templates and asked for certain of my entries to be removed. Just want to know your thoughts? ![]() ![]()
Maybe another Admin member could confirm this: My understanding is Aviation Designs does not have any coverage in terms of whether users post your designs on Airliners.Net or other forums without your consent; that aspect is up to the image owner to control. However when it comes to others uploading images on this site that include templates, graphic work, etc... that do not belong to the poster and are being used without permission, we do have a policy in which those images must be taken off if added to the site. If you tell me which designs on the site are using components of yours without your permission, I can delete them for you! If you could reference a design on the system of yours that uses the same template, it would be much appreciated. Just to confirm it is your property. Cheers! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
