How would you describe the shape of the 707 and DC-8's tail-cones? I can't think of a word to describe it other than rather blunt for a tail-cone to me.
Did the CV-880/CV-990 benefit aerodynamically from it's blade-shaped tail (which is similar to the later MD-11 and 777)
