That sure is the real thing, a type 35B.

I thought it was a Type 51 '33,
What's the difference between a 35 and a 51?

And i've asked in a forum here in chile, and they told me it was a replica.

well, it might very well ne a type 51, they are almost identical. wWhat differs is the engine. on the right side of the bonnet there is a small hole, which acted as a relief for the supercharger, the type 51A had a small 1,5 litre supercharger twincam engine, which gave an impressive 160 hp! 51B also came with 2 litrer and 2,3 litre supercharged engines to.

What makes me pretty certain this is the real car is the moutings of the front axle, appearantly all little nuts and bolts looks correct, so also the light alloy wheels, Bugatti was the first in the world to forge aluminum/mag-wheels. If finding such a set, they cost astronomical.

When bulding replicas they always miss out on some details, I find no misses on this one, it MIGHT be a replica though but if so, its esxtremly well done and cattered for.

type 51 definately.

I think I know what car this is, factory ID 37166 was ordered from Chile and delivered there June 1926, no notice in the factory records of the name of the buyer. For some reason about 15 type 35/37 Bugattis was sold to Matarazzo, Sao Paolo in Brazil.
