THEFT OF PHOTOS

I have taken many thousands of photographs of classic British Cars which I have happily made available on PICASA for people to enjoy.

But now I find that a lot of my photographs have been STOLEN and placed onto CarDatabase.Net and attributed to the photographer "CAR-MANIAK".

I spend a lot of time and effort making good quality images of classic British Cars, and then I research the vehicle carefully and caption each image accordingly.

It is downright theft for CAR_MANIAK to claim my work as his own.

The very least that CarDatabase.Net can do is to correctly identify the Photographer of these photographs as ME.

Whilst I am willing to share my work, I still have intellectual property rights on EVERY image !

Thanks for your reply.

I am busy creating thousands more images, but these will NOT go on a public website until I can stop people stealing my work

Hey Simon

Have you thought about putting some copyright bar or a watermark with your name?

Yeah, I have thought about a Watermark, but I didn't want to use such protection. I thought people would be HONEST instead of SCOUNDRELS.

Anyway it is too late for these images - they have already been stolen.

Sorry to hear that dude, that is bullshit I know there are a bunch of fake photos by some other guy on here don't know maybe its the same user but a lot of photos say from Toronto but its like a picture of a Ferrari in the middle of the jungle so it makes no sense.

I feel for you, don't blame us..for the problem..in this world the only privacy is what is inside your head.
