So I test drove a 2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series

Wow! I was very impressed, probably one of the smoothest cars I've ever drive in my life, which isn't many cars mind you but let's just say my Sebring really didn't feel the same after I test drove that baby, I got some shots, but sadly you wont see them other than this sneak peak that I am about to give you, my photos are so back logged and I am expecting another 100 more to come in from Western New York.
Here it is, beautiful if you ask me, though I'd get one in black. -Nicholas ![]() ![]() Re: So I test drove a 2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series

Nicholas,
It's really a nice pic and for sure a great car to get a drive experience. I hope to drive an old 1976 Mustang. What? Yeah, an old car that is really still impressive by any reasons. Mostly because made my style, like an old B707 of aviation. Just forget any tech thing, its the feeling of the machine on your hands, real adventure. 1976 Mustang is a bad choice... came with fourcylinder or a smogged V6 only for these years, quality problems ugly styling and undesirability makes them almost extict today.
secondly, I wonder what so really nice about that pic??? Rode an late 80:ies Lincoln a while ago, impressive comfortand smoothness, actually much better in sound insulation and seat comfort than the newer ones. Could make me almost, but just almost, consider a Ford car again.

Märten,
Just wanna enjoy the experience of drive a 1976 Mustang because it remembers my youth ages, i never had the chance to drive and old Mustang (still is my favorite, old and todays of it), i got to new one, much better in terms of engine, you are right. About Nicholas' pic, the focus on front view, well cropped and centered. If you note my photos, i enjoy them cropped closer to full the pic space and centered. Unless it is like some pics of vehicles of the same exactly type, lined and showing there are many of them on the frame. Re: So I test drove a 2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series

wanna feel how a Mustang should be , try out a 1969-70 Mach-1 with 428SCJ engine, that one will scare the pants right of you
snag with the earlier Mustangs is dubious roadholding, alas quite sufficient for normal driving. The new generation mustang, well, the retro thing is it got 60:ies roadholding... I rem, ember a schoolmate got a 74 or 75 Mustang really cheap, it was an awkward car, quite much of an overgrown Taunus, but even slower. I still wonder whats so good with that pic, misaligned, out of center, messy background, cropped half the car out... nope, what do I miss? Re: So I test drove a 2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series

About old Mustangs, i really wanna enjoy and will follow your advice, i may try to find out a 1969-70 Mach-1, to feel the noise and the power of it! Thanks!
About photography, cropping, centered shots, i've got experience with planes since eight years ago, have 731 pictures on Airfleets.net, 19 on Myaviation.net (just because didn't send all of them yet), and i am photo screener of Airfleets.net since early 2005. I try to make the same for cars, cropping, centering, sharp the pics, and doing successful work since early 2007, the year i started cars shots. Before this date, i was taking trains shots and Ships also, really good job done on these too. Some time i can post some of them here, you will see and comment. I feel i do have good knowledge about photography, just like you guys do a good work. Anyways...lets wait Nicholas reply, my comment for his pic is done yet. Some 428" Cobra jet memories from me.
First Mustang ever I drove was with such engine, it was a 1969 Mach-1 , this engine was only avaliable in Mustangs late '68 thru 1970 and quite a rare pice ![]() Photographer © Mårten Carlsson I was about 16 at the time, shifted to gear and nothing happened besides the noice, turned out i just spun, before I figured out to start the beast in second gear to even get it rolling. Shifting to third and clumsy on the clutch got me spinning the car backwards, jeez what a monster it was. Last fall I got the opportunity to try out driving a 428 Cobra jet again, this time in a Torino GT convertible. It was still a beast, this time i could handle it, but wow, i had forgot how high-revving that bigblock cobra jet really is! pedal to the metal and it just howled, it went on, and, on, and on , and on, it felt it never reched its peak! Somewhere i must have shifted to second, in this Torino convertible with wind tearing my hair and face, I shifted into third somewhere on the far side of 200km/h The 428 SCJ engine is not for faint hearted.. I'd buy a black one actually, lower it and put a lot of money into the engine, making it a pimp car. -Nicholas ![]() ![]() Re: So I test drove a 2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series

Märten,
Its a very good shot of this Mustang, i am impressed, and is very rare to see one of it here in Philadelphia. Anyways...i may try some of this when going to Los Angeles next month. Also good description, i just can imagine how would be inside of one and starts its engine, and hear how the sounds it is! For sure, pretty much good! Angle is ok, but would like to have more of the background with the lake, but this is at a big sportscar show with several hundreds of cars and many more people always running in the way, so one has not to be choosy under such circumstances...
